THE ROLE

As a Social Content Designer, you will be supporting the day-to-day creation of media assets and content across our digital marketing campaigns. You'll work closely and report to our Senior Social & Campaign Lead, as well as our Digital Marketing Managers. Our work includes a blend of essential BAU (Business As Usual) campaigns and innovative, creative-led campaigns that focus heavily on paid search and social media, including TikTok and Instagram. We’ll provide you with a MacBook and access to all the design tools needed (Adobe Suite, Canva Pro etc).

This role is a great fit for someone who is either just starting out or looking to gain more experience in digital and social media content design. We’re looking for someone who lives and breathes creativity, who enjoys creating and editing digital assets with a vision in mind.

Our clients' campaigns range from local to global, spanning multiple territories and languages. If you are ambitious, a keen learner, with a strong eye for social media design, this position could be an excellent fit for you.

THE DAY-TO-DAY

  • Create visually appealing graphics for digital marketing campaigns, including social media posts, banners, emails, and online adverts, collaborating with the marketing team to understand campaign objectives and design requirements.
  • Support on design collateral for the business; new business proposals, reports, and marketing content.
  • Create mock-ups for potential campaigns and presentations, present your design concepts and ideas effectively to the team and adjust based on input.
  • Ensure consistency with brand guidelines across all design work.
  • Edit short-form video content for digital platforms, including social media, websites, and adverts; Add motion graphics, text overlays, and other visual elements to enhance video content; Optimise video formats and sizes for various digital platforms.
  • Design engaging and shareable graphics tailored for social media platforms (e.g., Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn).
  • Develop eye-catching ad creatives for PPC campaigns, display adverts, and social media adverts; Collaborate with the digital marketing team to test and refine ad designs based on performance data.
  • Maintain open communication throughout the design process to ensure alignment with project goals.
  • Maintain organised files and asset libraries for easy access and collaboration.
  • Ensure proper version control and backup of all design files.
  • Continuously research and implement the latest digital design trends, tools, and techniques, and contribute fresh ideas to the team.

ABOUT YOU

Essentials:

  • An undergraduate degree in design
  • A keen eye for design and strong attention to detail, coupled with a foundational understanding of digital marketing principles.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential, along with the ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment.
  • Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects), Canva etc. is required.
  • Familiarity with digital marketing tools and social media platforms is a plus.
  • An eagerness to learn and grow in the digital design and marketing field will set you apart as an ideal candidate.
Desirables:
  • Proficiency in Google Suite (Sheets, Slides, Docs etc.)

THE PERKS

Hybrid Working: work in the office when you want, but work remotely when it’s more productive. All we ask in return is for you to be in the office at least 2 days a month and when required for client face-to-face meetings.

Flexitime: Start between 08:00 to 09:00 and finish between 16:30 to 17:30; for an early dart on a Friday this is 16:00 to 17:00!

Annual Leave: 31 days including bank holidays and Christmas, plus your birthday off after 1 year's service and an additional day's holiday for every year you’re part of our team, up to an additional 20 days!
