We’re looking for an experienced content and social media executive to join our growing team

Title: Content and Social Marketing Executive
Hours: Full-time
Location: Remote and/or Northern Quarter, Manchester  
Salary: Up-to £25,000 per annum + bonus

We're looking for an ambitious content and social marketing expert who wants to work with big brands and on exciting campaigns.

You'll be excited about the power of content and social media, and how creating innovative, unique campaigns will drive our clients marketing. You'll also be comfortable engaging with our clients and partners, and maintaining strong relationships with them. You'll enjoy working in a dynamic office environment, and you'll appreciate the benefits of being part of a close-knit, supportive team.

Main Roles and Responsibilities

  • Creating exciting, engaging content for our clients which aligns with their tone of voice and their content pillars
  • Managing social campaigns across multiple channels and territories and maximising the campaign performance
  • Generating exciting ideas for new campaigns
  • Supporting the reporting requirements of the team and our clients
  • Monitoring our clients performance to find weaknesses and opportunities
  • Being part of client meetings and helping build strong relationships
  • Communicating with clients and partners on work in progress and results
  • Being part of the pitching process for new clients

Key Skills

  • 1 - 3 years experience of producing outstanding, interesting content - be it short-form blogs or long-form whitepapers
  • 1 - 3 years experience of creating and running organic campaigns on social media, including on established channels (e.g. Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn) and up-and-coming channels (e.g. TikTok)
  • Very strong organisational and time management skills
  • An attention to detail, and the ability to work independently
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the desire to work within a tight-knit team
  • Analytical mind-set with a passion for problem solving

Desirable Skills

  • Experience using third-party tools to manage social campaigns (e.g. Hootsuite)
  • Video editing experience/ Experience with Adobe
  • An NCTJ qualification is a bonus
  • Experience with Google Analytics, Google Data Studio
  • Experience of both B2B and B2C
  • Experience creating budget and performance forecasts
