2016 sees theEword feature at number 42 on this firmly established listing of the North’s largest digital agencies spanning SEO and PPC, web, content, mobile and e-commerce. Prolific North, in conjunction with Mustard Research and financial reporting company fame BVD, compared and compiled data from over 150 Northern digital agencies in order to get to this final Top 50 list.

Commenting on The Top 50 Digital Agencies results, managing director of theEword Daniel Nolan said: “We achieved some incredible results for our clients in 2015 and we’re delighted to have hit the ground running in 2016 with six exciting new clients on board so far this year. It’s great to once again feature in The Prolific North Top 50 Digital Agencies table and we look forward to building on our position in 2017”

2015 saw theEword tasked with planning and executing a wholly integrated online campaign for Pure Leisure Group – one of the UK’s leading caravan and lodge companies. Launched at the end of 2014, the campaign has increased the conversion of sales and rentals of holiday homes – with online bookings having increased by 120 per cent year-on-year – through increased online visibility and conversion rate optimisation.

“Since appointing theEword to handle our online marketing, we’ve seen a better return from PPC, an uplift in organic and paid growth and an increase in enquiries and general sales, as well as a dramatic reduction in the cost per action. With such impressive results already, we’re looking forward to continuing to work with theEword during what we expect will be an even more profitable 2016.”

– Stuart Wilson, head of marketing at Pure Leisure Group

theEword’s campaign for The Student Housing Company saw them achieve a 37 per cent uplift in organic website traffic and a 45 per cent increase in referral traffic compared to the previous year, as well as an overall increase in web traffic of 34 per cent. Total traffic to the blog – which incorporated optimised content coordinated by theEword – also increased by 25 per cent year-on-year.
